Shift: 19:00-07:30 (Guaranteed 36 hours per week with weekend block scheduling)

Job Description

Join our dedicated team providing quality healthcare services to the community. The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit will play a vital role in the patient care process, focusing on delivering exceptional clinical support and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care per established protocols and standards
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance and disease management

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in Tennessee
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• 1+ years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Experience with IV insertion
