Sterile Processing Supervisor - Monday to Friday, 3 PM - 11:30 PM

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Supervisor is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, monitoring, and staffing departmental services in line with policies and budgets mandated by regulatory agencies. This role supervises and coordinates all resources and services of the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring compliance with hospital requirements and excellent customer service across departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist department leadership with broad operations to ensure comprehensive departmental service provision.
• Coordinate long-range strategic operational planning and policy development in collaboration with Surgical Services.
• Continuously assess, measure, and improve departmental performance.
• Manage departmental resources responsibly and ensure staff professional needs are met.
• Lead, teach, and inspire staff while demonstrating hospital behavioral standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician.
• 2 years of management or supervisory experience.
• CER - Certified Endoscope Reprocessor required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in science or related field, Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, Current CIS Certified Instrument Specialist, and 2 years of healthcare experience in Surgical Services and/or Sterile Processing.

Schedule

This position requires availability Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11:30 PM and may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and on-call shifts.
