CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Open Heart Experience Required

We are seeking a highly skilled CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver exceptional care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. The ideal candidate will possess open heart experience and have a strong background in critical care nursing. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to complex cardiac patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage intravenous therapies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform assessments and maintain detailed records of patient progress and care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.

Schedule

This position requires a shift from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
• Open heart surgery experience is mandatory.
• Completion of a Basic Pharmacology exam and Rhythm Interpretation screening.
• Current certifications in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and CPR.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
