Registered Nurse - NICU III

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00 working every weekend with one additional day during the week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with Level III NICU experience. The role requires the ability to float between five hospitals based on staffing needs. Candidates must be comfortable working with micro preemies and using high-frequency ventilation.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for neonates in a Level III NICU environment.
• Ensure high standards of care are maintained, particularly for micro preemies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care.
• Manage high-frequency ventilation and other critical care procedures.
• Adhere to patient care protocols and maintain the required patient ratios.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-3 years of NICU experience, with a strong emphasis on Level III care.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Epic experience is preferred.
• Active RN license in New Jersey or Compact state.
