Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day shifts: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with potential for rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to join our team. This role includes the possibility of floating to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for similar patient populations. The position requires 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license is required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be active and in hand at submission.
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
