8-hour shift, with an 8:00 am start time. May be scheduled on weekends.

Job Description

The Diagnostic Technologist Outpatient's primary responsibilities include the positioning of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle in preparation for x-ray. This role involves performing imaging procedures independently, operating X-ray equipment, processing images, and documenting into PACS. The Diagnostic Technologist provides basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse and may perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for diagnostic x-ray procedures.
• Operate and maintain X-ray equipment.
• Process images and input data into PACS.
• Provide basic patient care including obtaining vital signs and assisting with clinician evaluations.
• Ensure the work area is organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Float to Main Radiology as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
• Current CPR Certification.
• California issued Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Current ARRT licensure.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• Previous traveler experience preferred.
