Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

The Progressive Care Unit is dedicated to providing specialized care for patients requiring advanced medical attention. This 44-bed unit is staffed with a team of 95 professionals, ensuring optimal patient care and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuro and spinal checks.
• Perform C-Collar placement and manage TLSO braces.
• Administer medications and IV infusions, including PCA pumps and blood transfusions.
• Manage chest tubes and lumbar drains.
• Facilitate feeding tube placements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Neuro and Trauma Care experience is essential
