6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts. Weekend availability required, every third weekend.

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) provides critical care for patients experiencing serious symptoms or medical conditions caused by illness or injury. Registered Nurses in the ED will assess patients who arrive at any time, day or night, and must determine the seriousness of the condition based on presented symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and triage of patients with various emergency medical conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to create care plans.
• Monitoring patient conditions and documenting changes.
• Providing immediate care for life-threatening conditions and serious injuries.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of RN Emergency Department experience - Required
• TNCC certification - Required
• ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) certifications - Required
• Valid Michigan RN license - Required
