Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery Center

Day shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with procedural experience for our Outpatient Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have a background in Pre/Post-operative care, with the ability to float to various departments including the Pain Center and PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the outpatient surgery setting.
• Assist in procedural rooms with a patient ratio of 1:2 during procedures, and 1:4 for Pre/Post-operative care.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure the safety and comfort of patients pre and post-procedure.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Documentation and charting in the Epic system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of acute care experience, with procedural (GI/OR/Moderate Sedation) expertise.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid RN license (PA or compact) required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience in pain management and outpatient services is a plus.
