Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse - Night/Day Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position, with the potential for extension based on performance and operational needs.

Schedule

The role features a Night 3x12-Hour shift (19:00 - 07:30) and a Day 3x12-Hour shift (07:00 - 19:30) with potential rotation to meet hospital needs.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care in a hospital setting, with the possibility of floating to various units and accepting patients on ventilators as needed. You will be part of a team that focuses on delivering quality patient care while adhering to the facility's operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Float to other units as needed while maintaining the same patient care standards.
• Complete required assessments during orientation, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele nursing.
• Current Ohio RN license or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty of application.
