7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Every other weekend)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in emergency care, providing high-quality nursing care to patients in critical situations. The role requires adaptability, quick decision-making, and a commitment to patient welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in procedures such as intubations, conscious sedation, and management of sepsis and strokes.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and standards for patient safety and care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (Temporary licenses not accepted)
• ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience preferred.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.
• CEN certification is a plus.
