Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends; no call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, with the ability to provide high-quality care to mothers and their newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide care during labor and delivery to ensure safe childbirth.
• Monitor fetal and maternal health using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
• Perform typical procedures such as SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have: EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, C-Section circulation.
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Preferred: Internal monitor placement competency and previous experience in a Level IV unit.
