Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in urgent and emergent situations. The role involves managing critical and trauma patients, performing assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Ventilator management and care of critical and trauma patients.
• Perform port access, IV placement, and phlebotomy.
• Administer cardiac drips and moderate sedation procedures.
• Provide care for behavioral health patients as needed.
• Maintain effective communication within a team-based approach.
• Ensure calmness and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Care.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, PALS.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
