Rehabilitation Nurse

Schedule

Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM. This position guarantees 36 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Nurse to join our inpatient acute rehabilitation team. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients recovering from severe injuries or illnesses. Your role will involve assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to promote optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective treatment and recovery plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a rehabilitation nursing role.
• Current BLS certification.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong communication skills.
