Surgical Oncology/Urology/ENT/Colorectal Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shift schedules (Days/Evenings/Nights), including weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback requirements.

Job Description

This 28-bed unit specializes in the care of post-operative patients with gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and head and neck surgeries, including patients with oncological diseases. Flexibility, a strong belief in teamwork, a positive attitude, and a willingness to care for a varied patient population in a changing environment are a must!

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-operative patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and maintain telemetry experience.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist in the execution of care plans and respond to patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License (New York license only)
• Two (2) years of nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
