Neuro-Progressive RN - 7A to 7:30P Shift

This position operates on a 7AM to 7:30PM shift.

Job Description

The Neuro-Progressive RN is responsible for providing advanced nursing care to patients in a high-acuity setting. The ideal candidate will possess neuro-progressive or ICU experience and demonstrate the ability to manage complex patient needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records utilizing Epic electronic health record.
• Participate in the training and mentoring of new staff and nursing students.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have prior Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU experience.
• 5-bed Med-Surg rotation experience is required.
• Epic experience is mandatory.
• Completion of a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer acceptance.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required.
