Registered Nurse - MedSurg Float Pool Position

Schedule

This position requires 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, working from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holiday are required, with no call duty.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will serve as a float nurse, providing essential care across various departments as needed. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to a diverse patient population in multiple departments.
• Monitor and manage patient health using bi-pap and hi-flo systems.
• Assess patient needs and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Pennsylvania nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Experience with bi-pap and hi-flo required.
• BLS certification from AHA is required; ACLS certification is preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
