Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12 Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a commitment to work during major holidays as specified in the holiday requirement guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with various medical conditions including hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, and bowel obstructions.
• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient care.
• May be asked to float to other departments as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be willing to care for COVID patients in a tobacco and fragrance-free facility.
