Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Night shift, 3x12-hour, from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The registered nurse will provide essential care in the Labor & Delivery unit, facilitating a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, delivering competent care during labor, and ensuring adherence to Baby Friendly guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and status of mothers and infants throughout the labor process.
• Participate in childbirth education and support families through the delivery process.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as necessary.
• Document patient care and outcomes using the facility's charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Current certifications: NRP and EFM.
• ACLS certification is required.
• State RN licensure is required.
