Registered Nurse - High Risk Obstetric Unit

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in a Level III high risk facility, specifically within the High Risk Obstetric Unit. Responsibilities include managing antepartum patients, early inductions, and patients requiring continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records.
• Float to high-risk OB units and potentially to nearby lower-volume hospitals as needed.
• Assist in delivering high-risk patients and following protocol for antepartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2.5-3 years of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required.
• Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
