Registered Nurse - High Risk Obstetric Unit

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a Level III High Risk Obstetric Unit. The role requires adept clinical skills, primarily focusing on the care of early inductions and antepartum patients, along with those on continuous monitoring. You will be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2.5-3 years of experience in a High Risk Obstetric or Labor & Delivery nursing role.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
• Active New Jersey nursing license.
• Must pass the Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing.
