Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM and 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM) alternating throughout the schedule.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will provide surgical support in the Cardiac and Vascular departments, assisting with a variety of procedures including CABG, valve surgeries, and endovascular repairs. The role involves scrubbing and assistance during operations, ensuring a sterile environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Assist with trauma surgeries, as necessary.
• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols.
• Support surgical teams and provide assistance as needed during procedures.
• Document surgical procedures accurately and in compliance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Cardiac and Vascular experience is required.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• Certification from NBSTSA or NCCT is required.
• Experience with Level 2 trauma center and trauma patients is preferred.
