Cardiac Cath Lab Technician

Schedule

6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including 36 hours per week commitments. Late team shifts once a week until 9:00 PM, with weekday overnight call and weekend 24-hour call expected.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a cardiac cath lab setting and possess the necessary licensure and certifications. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various cardiac procedures and supporting patient care during these critical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any immediate needs during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the cath lab.
• Provide education to patients regarding procedures and recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab Technician experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• ARRT and state licensure required.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Active BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Valid driver’s license for residency verification.
• Preference for candidates with travel experience.
