This is a night shift position, working 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist will provide essential respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients in a dynamic critical care environment. Responsibilities include utilizing advanced respiratory equipment and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care in critical settings.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Hamilton G5, PB 980, and Respironics V60.
• Administer therapies, including BiPAP, CPAP, and aerosol treatments.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy and treatment interventions.
• Provide patient and family education on respiratory health and equipment use.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Required certifications: RRT, BLS, and ACLS.
• Experience with trauma Level I or II is preferred.
