Pulmonary Function Lab Respiratory Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts will be a mixture of 8-hour (7a-4p) and 10-hour (7a-5:30p) schedules. No holiday or weekend requirements.

Job Description

The Pulmonary Function Lab is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Level 1 trauma setting and possess knowledge in exercise testing. Familiarity with methacholine challenge testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pulmonary function tests and exercise testing.
• Administer and monitor medications as prescribed.
• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with respiratory issues.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Level 1 trauma experience required.
• Exercise testing experience preferred.
• Methacholine challenge experience preferred.
