Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency care, particularly in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency room.
• Assess and triage patients based on their medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocol.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ER RN, with at least 2 years in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Current New Jersey RN License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification is required.

Schedule

Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend (EOW).

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
