MRI Technologist - Night Shift

Schedule

8-hour night shifts with a mix of 8s and 12s, including some rotation to evenings. Flexibility with scheduling is required, including working 1-2 weekends a month. No call is expected.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures in a teaching hospital environment. The candidate will need to adhere to standards of patient care and ensure high-quality imaging as per physician requests. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Conduct MRI scans in adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure safety standards are met.
• Document and report any discrepancies in imaging results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• ARRT or ARMRIT license in MRI with advanced MR licensure is mandatory.
• Experience with Phillips MRI systems is highly preferred.
• Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of MRI experience is needed.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years is nonnegotiable.
