Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

This position is responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documenting direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with the physician's plan of care. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient resident care delivery and the achievement of desired resident outcomes. This role supports the organization vision and mission and utilizes knowledge of residents' age and cultural diversity into the provision of resident care. Additionally, the RN will contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in resident care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate resident care needs and develop a plan of care.
• Implement nursing interventions and coordinate care with healthcare team members.
• Document nursing care and resident progress in accordance with compliance standards.
• Monitor resident outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.

Schedule

This position involves working 3, 12-hour night shifts.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current California RN license.
• Current certification in CPR.
