Radiology Technologist – Cardiac Intervention

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 15:30 or 07:30 to 16:00. Call shifts required on weekends every 6 weeks.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist for a cardiac intervention radiology room specializing in structural heart procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of interventional radiology tasks, ensuring patient safety and quality care during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including catheterizations and stent placements.
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team including IV teams, physical therapy, and social services.
• Maintain and manage sterile environments and assist in equipment setup.
• Document procedures accurately using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology, preferably in cardiac intervention.
• Current California state license (CLS) required.
• ACLS, ARRT R, BLS certifications required.
• Fluoroscopic Permit and CA CRRT state license required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
