Cath Lab Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift with a 4x10 hour schedule from 07:00 to 17:30. On-call required for 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Tech will provide support in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including STEMI, IABP, and structural heart interventions. Responsibilities also include performing specialized imaging procedures and maintaining sterile techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic cardiac cath, interventional cardiac cath, and neurointervention procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Utilize various medical devices and perform technical procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in the cath lab.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a Cath Lab.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) or RCIS.
• Preferred experience with EP, IR, vascular interventions, and monitoring.
• Experience with specific technologies including Philips X-Ray System.
