Speech Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our acute care team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience and be skilled in performing modified barium swallow studies and/or FEES.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patients' speech and swallowing capabilities.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, working four 10-hour shifts on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Experience with modified barium swallow studies and/or FEES preferred.
• Current licensure as a Speech Therapist.
• Completion of all required health screenings and vaccinations, including COVID-19 and Hepatitis B.
