NICU/PICU Registered Respiratory Therapist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 (19:00 - 07:30). Nurses will work at least every other Sunday and will not have block scheduling requests except for weekends (Friday-Sunday).

Job Description

Join our team as a NICU/PICU Registered Respiratory Therapist, providing essential care and support to neonates, infants, pediatric and adolescent patients. You will be working in specialized units with interdisciplinary support, managing various patient diagnoses and performing specialized respiratory care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy and management for patients in NICU and PICU settings.
• Administer therapies, including high flow, non-invasive support, and nitric oxide.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Servo ventilators, Trilogy, LTVs, and oscillators.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the respiratory therapy specialty.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• Valid state license (Ohio or multi-state).
• Previous charge experience is not required.
