Surgical Services Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights. Weekend call is also a requirement, with the potential for up to three weekend shifts every six weeks, which may include 24-hour call on Saturdays or 16-hour shifts on Sundays. Night shifts may occur, particularly on Fridays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled surgical services professional to join our team. All candidates must have experience in a variety of surgical procedures, particularly in high-pressure environments. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes, and in-house call rooms are available for use.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures, ensuring strict adherence to protocols and standards.
• Provide support and coordination during surgical operations, including trauma, ortho, and neuro procedures.
• Operating robotic systems like DaVinci for cardiac surgeries.
• Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience; 3 years preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in Level 1 Trauma settings.
• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in the last 3 years.
• Proficient in general surgery, orthopedic (total joints required), neuro (crani and spine), vascular, trauma surgery, robotics, and transplant procedures.
• Previous regular employee status is not permitted for applicants.
