Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. On-call for 5 weeknights and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for assisting in minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular procedures. The candidate must be experienced in scrubbing and managing various special procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare access sites and set up equipment for procedures.
• Accurately monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist in various interventional radiology procedures including angiography, embolization, and stent placements.
• Manage inventory and supplies effectively.
• Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in IR, Hybrid OR, scrub, and special procedures.
• Valid NJDEP Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License (can be obtained prior to start).
• ARRT (R); ACLS; BLS certifications required (preferred ARRT VI).
