Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsibilities include delegating and directing therapy services, designing functional treatment programs, and ensuring effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluation of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document medical records accurately and timely, adhering to guidelines.
• Provide care under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in student programs by providing education and supervision.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand organizational performance improvement methodologies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active physical therapy license for the state where work will be performed.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule. Coverage is needed through September 3rd, with evaluations and treatments lasting 60 minutes.
