Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit provides comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population. This role requires a focus on assessment, implementation, and evaluation of care plans to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapy.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Assist in diagnostic tests and analyze results as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Active RN license in the state of Arkansas.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
