12-hour day shifts with weekend requirements; every other weekend is expected.

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients in a fast-paced environment. The RN will work closely with medical teams and support staff to deliver quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and medical histories.
• Assist with diagnostic tests and patient procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Float to other telemetry units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience required.
• Current NY RN License or proof of application.
• BLS certification required; CMSRN preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to starting.
• Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required.
