Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Registered Nurse with a focus on Orthopedics to join our team. As an RN on the orthopedic/neuro unit, you will provide high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures including total joints and spine surgeries. You will work collaboratively within a supportive team environment that values teamwork and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients.
• Manage patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (Meditech).
• Work effectively with charge nurses, techs, and other staff to ensure efficient unit operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Solid Med/Surg nursing experience required; Orthopedic/Spine experience preferred.
