Shifts: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM; Every other weekend required

Job Description

The Emergency Department is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide top-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The department serves as a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, handling high volumes of emergency cases. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a high-volume emergency setting.
• Work effectively in a team environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Facilitate timely assessments and interventions for patients presenting with acute conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using the Cerner system.
• Adhere to hospital policies and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications:
  • ACLS within hire date
  • BLS within hire date
  • PALS within hire date
  • TNCC within hire date
  • CPI within hire date
  • NIHSS within hire date
  • ENPC within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a Level II trauma center or high-volume ED preferred.
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give feedback in real-time.
• Flexibility to float to different sections within the Emergency Department as needed.
