Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This position requires a skilled nursing professional dedicated to providing quality care for a cardiac population. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PCU med/surg telemetry nursing within a similar-sized facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with cardiac conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain.
• Administer cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• Monitor telemetry beds with both high and low acuity levels.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care administered.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of documented PCU med/surg telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
