MedSurg RN - Night Shift

4x12 Hour Night Shift (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated MedSurg RN to join our team for the night shift. The nurse will provide care for patients with a variety of medical conditions in a 12-bed general medical-surgical unit. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and willing to float between similar units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to a diverse adult and geriatric population.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education to enhance understanding of health conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in South Carolina or a Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Epic experience is required.
• Ability to manage telemetry monitoring and respond to rapid response calls.
