Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Day 5x8 hour shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The work schedule includes varied shifts starting from 7 AM to 9 AM, with weekends supported by a rotating on-call system among 6 to 8 staff members.

Job Description

The Neuro Interventional Radiology Technologist will play a vital role in providing advanced imaging technology related to interventional procedures in a Level 1 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate should possess neuro interventional experience, including stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, aneurysm stenting, AVM embolization, and carotid stenting.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro interventional procedures including stroke thrombectomy and aneurysm coiling.
• Assist in patient positioning and prepare necessary equipment for procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and radiology.
• Document patient care accurately and supportively within the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of neuro interventional experience is required.
• Preferred certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI*, BLS, SC Radiography State License.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
