Cardiac Device Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Device Technician to join our outpatient Tilley Device clinic. This role involves the independent technical management of implanted cardiac rhythm management (CRM) devices such as pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and implanted loop recorders. You will be part of a dedicated team providing care to cardiac patients with implanted monitors, primarily serving adults aged 18 and older.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a set schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There are no on-call responsibilities or weekend requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical management of implanted cardiac rhythm management devices.
• Work independently to provide quality patient care to individuals with cardiac devices.
• Maintain and manage patient records in the EPIC system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Completion of a Pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent job experience.
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology.
• Experience with the EPIC system in the last 2 years.
