ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage is required every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide critical care to patients in an intensive care unit. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment and management skills, as well as experience in high-acuity settings. This position requires a willingness to float to different campuses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with complex medical needs in the ICU environment.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and perform assessments on critically ill patients.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Active Ohio RN license or compact state license at time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with arterial line management, central line care, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
