Cath Lab Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-Hour schedule (06:30 - 17:00), rotating days as needed, Monday through Friday. On-call hours required.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-volume Cardiac Interventional Center. The ideal candidate will possess recent/current experience in interventional scrubbing within a Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiac procedures including IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural, PFO, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman.
• Maintain sterile field and equipment setup in the Cath Lab.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer necessary interventions during procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations during evenings and weekends.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV teams, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab/Interventional scrubbing.
• Current ARRT-R and/or RCIS certifications required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with GE Innova IGS and Philips systems preferred.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and various cardiac procedures.
