Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position with potential for extension.

Schedule

Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Telemetry team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical-surgical telemetry nursing and will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a telemetry setting.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and ECG rhythms.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
• Current American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Recent experience with Epic charting within the last 6 months is mandatory.
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
