Registered Nurse - ICU

Schedule

This position operates on a 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift, with a commitment to 48 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with extensive experience in critical care to join our team. This role requires competence in handling ICU patients across various specialty units. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working in a Level I trauma center and should be able to float to multiple intensive care units effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for ICU patients in diverse environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and PCCU.
• Participate in the management of critically ill patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and PACU awaiting bed placement.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with adherence to hospital protocols.
• Conduct assessments, monitor patient vitals, and document care accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license.
• Epic experience is required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Competency test to be completed within 24 hours of submission.
