Registered Nurse - Med/Tele

Schedule

Nights - 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with 36 and 48 hours available per week. Required to work 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Tele unit. The unit consists of 40 beds, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients with acute medical and telemetry needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in a Med/Tele setting.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in EPIC.
• Be willing to float to other units as needed and work in a charge nurse role if required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical or telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
