CT Technologist Position - 13-Week Contract

Schedule

This is a PM shift position, consisting of 4 × 10 hour shifts per week. The hours are 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM with rotating on-call responsibilities, including one call shift per week and one weekend call every 4-6 weeks.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures, ensuring high quality images are produced while adhering to safety protocols. Candidates should have experience in a trauma or cardiac facility, using Siemens technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans according to physician orders.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient interactions.
• Follow radiation safety and compliance guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical staff to assess patient needs and imaging requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• CT Registered (2nd Registry) within 12 months of CT hire date.
• Two years of experience as a registered radiology technologist.
• Prior computed tomography experience in a trauma/cardiac facility preferred.
• ARRT CT certification with a minimum of one year experience in computed tomography.
• Current BLS certification required.
