7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week, including 2 weekends per 4-week schedule.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg unit is responsible for delivering attentive and compassionate care to patients and their families. This role includes making personal connections and involving patients and family members in their care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Med/Surg setting.
• Prioritize care and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform essential nursing tasks including starting IVs, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry, and continuous pulse oximetry machines.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Previous Med/Surg experience required.
